About me

Hello, I'm Alison Lawrence

My entire career has been a squiggly line, shaped and influenced by the people I have met, my career highs and lows (there are plenty of both!) my own life experiences and going with the opportunities that have made my own HeartSing.

Working with people gives me genuine pleasure - valuing each person's contribution, advocating fairness and equity at all times, supporting a sense of belonging, and being aware of the feelings and motives of others along with my own. I have coached, mentored and managed individuals and teams for many years and love encouraging peoples' development, supporting them in their challenges, celebrating their achievements and seeing how they, in turn, go on to inspire others.

My experience is drawn from over 30 years in pharmaceuticals, life sciences advocating for individuals and organisations to have a voice and be heard. I have led complex teams and programmes in the UK, Europe and Globally raising awareness of the impact of ill health, securing access to the right treatment and care, for the right person at the right time.

This corporate life has been augmented with amazing learnings and experiences volunteering.  As a Trustee for a national mental health charity, safe guarding at a local netball club, being part of the NHS Covid-19 Vaccine roll out and as the lay member of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation.

I am an EMCC Accredited Senior Practitioner and hold the Professional Certificate (L7) in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School.

Growing up I was fortunate to experience life in rural Cambridgeshire, Brazil and South Lincolnshire before heading to the University of Sheffield. I live in North London with my partner and two teenagers, who make me laugh, keep me grounded and teach me about resilience, determination and compassion.

Let's talk
